The Sagarmala Port Modernization and Capacity Enhancement project is a flagship initiative under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways' Sagarmala Programme. This comprehensive project aims to transform India's port infrastructure to meet global standards and significantly enhance cargo handling capacity.
The project encompasses multiple major ports across India, focusing on infrastructure upgrades, operational efficiency improvements, and technological integration to create a seamless maritime logistics ecosystem.
